Our Farming Methods

Naturally healthy

New Zealand Lamb is naturally reared all year round on lush green pastures. It is an ideal meat to form part of a healthy diet. It is rich in nourishment, so just a small portion contains a high concentration of nutrients essential for good health.

It is high in protein, B vitamins especially B12 and niacin, zinc and iron, all of which are necessary for a balanced diet.

At the same time, it is also relatively low in fat and cholesterol.

Naturally free-range

As a country built on the quality of its lamb there’s not much about raising sheep that New Zealanders don’t know. New Zealand produces the finest pasture-fed lamb in the world and sets the international standards for lamb quality, from healthy, natural production systems and food safety to taste, tenderness and consistency. Meat processing plants are held up as examples to the world for their hygienic construction and surgically clean procedures. This guarantees that every time you buy New Zealand Lamb, you can be sure it will meet the same high standards of quality and tenderness.

New Zealand has a temperate climate, plenty of sunshine and an abundance of land suitable for pastoral farming. Lambs are raised on a natural diet of fresh pasture in wide-open spaces without the need to provide nutrient supplements.
